SMS vote for Sundarbans

ICT Desk : By sending a message from cell phone, one can now easily cast a vote for the Sundarbans, world's largest mangrove forest, to become one of the 'New Natural Seven Wonders' of this planet. Telecommunications companies GrameenPhone, Teletalk and Robi started providing the Short Message Service (SMS) voting system recently. To vote, the customers of respective telecom companies can type "SB" in their message opposition and send it to "16333" number. Unlimited SMS can be sent from a SIM card and the customers will be charged TK 2.30 per SMS. The other telecommunications companies operating mobile phone will also start the facility soon.
