Patua Quamrul Hasan Art School painting, recitation competition held

Art & Culture Report To mark the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Patua Quamrul Hasan Art School arranged a day-long children painting and recitation competition at the Central Public Library Auditorium in the city's Shahbagh area recently. In the painting and recitation competition children aged from six to 13 took part in the morning and afternoon respectively. Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University AAMS Arefin Siddiqui was present as chief guest, while the session was presided over by former vice chancellor of Jahangirnagar University Prof Zillur Rahman Siddiqui. Eminent painter Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, General Secretary of Asiatic Society Bangladesh Prof Mahfuza Khanam, Director of Public Library Department Md Nur Hossain Talukder, artist Biren Shome, Director of Patua Quamrul Hasan Art School Anwar Hossain Babu also spoke on the occasion.
