Banglalink Music Fest held in Rangpur

Banglalink in their latest bid to make a change with music and connect with the country’s youth started a series of mega, nationwide concerts; the first of this was held in Khulna, continuing onwards to Chittagong and Rajshahi. Recently the concert came to Rangpur.
The most popular and well-loved Bangladeshiband groups, Miles, Warfaze, Aurthohin, Nemesis and singer Hyder Husein performed to a teeming audience at the Rangpur Stadium.
Banglalink has always supported music-based entertainment for the youth of the country before in various occasions, including both modern band music and traditional music. Over the years it has tried to promote music through numerous activities, in line with Banglalink’s aim to preserve and promote local culture and heritage; the purpose of these activities has been to recognise and support the dynamic and diverse musical culture of Bangladesh.
To further strengthen their association with the music platform and to promote musical entertainment for the youth of the country, Banglalink arranged this nationwide concert series.
This Series started in last year December in Khulna, covered Chittagong in January, March in Rajshahi and has moved to Rangpur that time. This is however not the end, as throughout 2011 Banglalink will organise more mega concerts around the nation.
Music has become the best medium in our culture to communicate and connect with the mass youth across the nation; band music is the most popular stream for the youth in our culture and it has truly made a difference in the lives of Bangladeshi youth over the past few decades.
Banglalink has always endeavoured to preserve and promote local culture and heritage, and this series of concerts is part of their plan to make a difference through music.
