IUB recalls language movement

IUB Art Club organized an installation art exhibition on the theme of Language Movement of 1952 at the university campus. The exhibition was inaugurated on the 19th February 2012. Under the supervision of Mr. Nazir Ahmed, Asst. Professor and course instructor of Arts and Aesthetics 101, the concerned students depicted the history of Language Movement mainly through their skill of using different colors on shirts and T-shirts. Other forms of art works also enriched the show.
The 10-day exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB. 'The creative works of the students actually contribute to the image of the liberal arts education of the university,' he remarked. Students, members of faculty and management were present on the occasion.
The exhibition will ends on the 29th February 2012.
