Faculty workshop at IUB

The Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a faculty development workshop entitled 'Teacher development through analysis of their practice' at its permanent campus at Bashundhara, Dhaka on Thursday, 23 February 2012. Dr Richard Kiely, Professor of Applied linguistics and language education, University College Plymouth St Mark and St John, UK conducted the workshop. Dr Kiely is also the Head of centre for international language teacher education and fellow higher education academy.
Faculty members of the department of English and department of modern languages, school of liberal arts and social sciences and Bangla language institute of IUB attended the workshop.
Prof M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB, delivered the opening remarks and Prof Razia Sultana Khan, Head, department of English, IUB, gave the closing remarks.
