AGM of BELTA held in DU

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BELTA (Bangladesh English Language Teachers Association) held on Friday 2nd March, 2012 at 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the RC Majumdar Hall, Lecture Theatre (behind the Arts Faculty building), Dhaka University. The meeting was attended by the members of the BELTA in the country. The meeting was followed by light refreshments.
Dr.Rubina Khan, president of BELTA commenced the AGM by delivering her welcome speech. Annual report of 2011 is presented by the General Secretary of BELTA. In her presentation, Dr. Arifa Rahman, demonstrated the key activities of BELTA in the year 2011. One of the attractive features of the AGM was the delivery of the reports from the BELTA regional chapters.
 It can be mentioned in this connection that already BELTA have established five regional chapters in Barisal, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Comilla.
