Freedom fighter’s son JU student Zinna needs immediate help for treatment

Jahangirnagar University (JU) student Anisur Rahman Zinnah needs immediate help to get treatment otherwise he would pass away because he is fighting with death. Zinna is the son of poor freedom fighter Ali Akbar and student of JU Master of Public Administration (MPA) of JU Public Administration department is suffering with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) disease since December 2011.
He was admitted in Sir Salimullah Medical College and Hospital on March 8 and now in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital under the treatment of Professor and Hear of Department of Neurology of the hospital Professor Dr Feroz Ahmed Quarisy.
Medical sources said, he needs treatment on emergency basis and around TK 10 lakhs would be needed to provide treatment within five days.
Chairman of the JU Public Administration department Mahmudur Rahman told this correspondent that, "we are seeking financial support and grants from any types of people and institution to provide him treatment in time".
"We have sent application seeking grants to all affiliations and interested people can help contacting with the department and sending Taka to the account no: 26066-4, Agrani Bank, JU Branch and account no: 137.101.165208, Dutch Bangla Bank Limited, Savar Bazar Branch" the chairman added.
