18th young artists’ art exhibition at Shilpakala

In Bangladesh it's a regular substance of organizing youth and new artist's art exhibition. These exhibitions help the new artists to represent their artworks in a new vision. It also instigate the youths to strong their desires and imagination. And this is how they can discover the power to formulate something new.
To explain the creativity of country's youth artists, a 15 day long 18th young artists' art exhibition is being held at National Art Gallery of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
A total of 224 artworks of 181 artists are on display in the exhibition. Among the artworks there are 181 paintings, 33 sculptures and 10 architectural works are placed in the exhibition. In these artworks the artists has tried to emphasize the different norms and behaviours of the society.
Among the paintings Bitop Sovon Bashar's 'Samajik Piron 03', Sumon Kumar Sarker's 'Baul 1', Jayanta Sarkar John's 'Saisab abong Bastobota 3' and Alauddin Al Azad's 'Bosti' may draw attraction of the viewers. And among the sculptures and architectural artworks Muhid Hasan's 'Firey Dekha', Obaydul Kabir Rikto's 'Joddha' and Farhana Tabassum's 'Tinkonna' may create nostalgic feeling in the mind of viewers.
In the paintings the artists has used acrylic on canvas, oil on canvas and water colour as the medium of their paintings. And in the sculptures and architectural artworks the artists has used fibre, net, ceramics, paper, woods, metal and plaster as the medium of their artworks.
The painting 'Samajik Piron 03' the artist Bitop Sovon Bashar has sketched some physically weak persons of our society who are survived by different stings of the society. Here the artist has tried to elaborate that how the poor people are surviving through poverty and how the society is avoiding them to give their own rights to live.
Another painting 'Baul 1' of Sumon Kumar Sarker has portrayed an image of a Baul who is passing idle time. Here the artist has tried to express that how the Baul and Baul songs are slacking from our country in this modern existence.
And the painting 'Saisab abong Bastobota 3' of Jayanta Sarkar John illustrated the image of amusing childhood and the upcoming perils in future. Here the artist has tried to explain that how the children from poor families engross their childhood without concerning their upcoming perils and blazing of life.
Beside the paintings, the sculpture 'Firey Dekha' of Muhid Hassan constructed the symbol of beggars of our society. The artist has tried to exemplify the real view of beggars and their begging style when we stop in a traffic signal or entering to our workplace.
And the architectural artwork 'Joddha' demonstrate the moment of bull fight which reminds us the traditional bull fight competition across the country.
All the artworks of different artists displayed in the exhibition have come from a selection by the selectors among 1,111 artworks of 463 artists. And the best artists from three categories of artworks will be rewarded after the end of exhibition.
