Prof. Dr. M. Shamsul Haque, Vice-chancellor of Northern University Bangladesh and Prof.  Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust expressed gratitude to Prof. A K Azad Chowdhury, Chairman of University Grant Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) for being elated new Chairman of South Asian University of SAARC. He was greeted with flower bouquet, Crest of appreciation on March 11, 2012.  Lt. Col. (Rtd.) Aqtedar Ahmed Siddiqui, Registrar, NUB, Muazzem Hossain, Executive Director, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, Northern University Bangladesh Trust and Abdul Matin, Senior Asst. Registrar of NUB were also present on the occasion.
