Children painting exhibition at B’baria

A four-day long children painting exhibition and cultural festival was held recently in Brahmanbaria. 
The festival was organised by Shishu Natyam at Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Bhasha Chatwar. In the last day of the festival, with the prize giving ceremony, six endowed persons were given reception. More then 100 paintings by the children took place in the exhibition.
In the last day of the festival, six endowed persons: Bir Uttam Habibur Rahman for his contribution to our liberation war, Editor of Daily Sangbad, Moniruzzaman and General Secretary of National Press Club and executive editor of Daity Aamar Desh Syed Abdal Ahmed for their contributions in field of journalism, Vice Chairman of Viyalatex Group Ahasan Kabir Khan as CIP, Proprietor of Shebai Shontushti, an NGO, ASM Shahazada Khadem for his contribution of social welfare and Bangladesh Computer Committee’s ex-president Mujibar Rahman Swapan for his contribution in science and technology got the reception.
 Masukul Islam presided over the programme and member Bhramanbaria-2 constituency Adv Ziaur Haque Mridha was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Senior Asstt Secretary of the National Press Club Rawnak Hossain, Joint Secretary Kader Goni Chowdhury, Deputy Manager of RK Ceramics Sarwar Jahan, Prof poet Mahabubur Rahim, Niaz Md Khan Bito, Wahid Khan Lavlu, Zahirul Haque and gave speeches in the function. n
