Disciplinary action in case of irregularities : Rly DG

Director General of Bangladesh Railway Md. Abu Taher  said, disciplinary actions will be taken against the officials  in case of any irregularities are detected in employment issue of the Railway East Zone
He disclosed it while answering the questions of the journalists at CRB yesterday afternoon. He also disclosed that  a 4-member inquiry team visited CRB  and  talked with the senior officials of Railwlay. Any irregularities in appointing the manpower are traced, none will be spared, he added. He mentioned there is no alternative of  appointment of new manpower and lack of proper manpower 146 branch line station now remained closed. He stressed immediate appointment of  manpower aimed at activate the closed stations within a short possible time. He also mentioned that govt has undertaken double line railway track from Laksam to Chinki astana at a cost of Tk.1030 cr and another Tk.400 cr will be spent for procurement of  11 meter gauge locomotive engine for East zone.
