One beaten to death in C'nawabganj

One person was beaten up to death by the opponents at Tahirpur under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Mainul Islam, 48, son of late Reazuddin Mondal of Rajarampur Balugram village under Gomostapur upazila in the district.
Khandakar Golam Martuza Officers in charge of Sadar Police station and his relatives said, as he was returning home after producing himself in the chapainawabganj court  in a case of landed property, his opponents detained him and beat him killing him on the spot. Being informed police from Chapainawabganj sadar police station recovered the dead body in the evening and sent it to Chapainawabganj sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
