Renowned educationist Prof Razia Matin, wife of former Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor late Prof Abdul Matin Chowdhury, died of old-age complications at Shikdar Medical College Hospital here yesterday noon.
She was 87.
Prof Razia, former principal of Dhaka University Laboratory School and College, and presidium member of Bangabandhu Parishad. She left behind three sons and one daughter to mourn her death.
She will be laid to eternal rest in city's Banani Graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza at Azad Mosque of Banani after Isha prayers, family sources said.
