RU crop science Dept moved to main campus

The students of Crop Science and Technology Department at Rajshahi University was demanding to shift its academic activities at the main campus from outer campus Narikelbaria of the university.
Yesterday they called off their agitation as the authorities met their demand to shift the department to the main campus from Narikelbaria.  Students withdrew their agitation programmes after receiving written permission of the university authorities, said a student of the department.
The students had been raising the demand due to transport problem and lack of general facilities as the department was 16 kilometres off the main campus.
Earlier, In the protest meeting the agitated students told that among 49 departments, only the academic activities of Crop Science and Technology department is conducting at the Narikelbaria campus of the university which is 16 kilometre off from the main campus. The students are being deprived of getting educational facilities as like a student of others departments of the university.
