Students to be digital minded, says DU VC

Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor
Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique on Saturday called upon the students to be digital minded to make their marks in building Digital Bangladesh.
Arefin made this remark while addressing as the chief guest at the freshers' reception and farewell of the Applied Physics, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) on the campus.  Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Harun-or-Rashid and Engineering and Technology Faculty Acting Dean Professor Rezaul Karim Mazumder addressed the function as special guests with Departmental Chairman Professor M Adnan Kabir in the chair.  Calling upon the students to play an important role to prevent cyber crime Arefin said technology should be used only for human welfare.
"We should be conscious so that the misuse of technology can not harm human being or create instability in the society," Professor Arefin added.
