CUET observes inter-university cultural festival

Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) observed a three daylong splendid cultural festival with much enthusiasm by the arrangement of Joydhony, a cultural society of the university.  Total 22 universities across the country participated at its different competitions and self-representation program and represent themselves in cultural part with their best one.  By bringing out a colorful jubilant rally on its green campus Joyodhony launched its first inter university cultural programme on last Thursday, which ended on Saturday. 
University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jahangir Alam was the chief guest at the inaugural session while National Prof. Dr. Md. Nurul Islam attended the function as guest of Honour while Dr. Abdul Wazed of Mechanical Engineering Department was in the chair. President of Joyodhony Hasanul Reza delivered welcome speech before the audience at the university central auditorium in the maiden day.
Among the different part of the programme there were short film competition, photography exhibition, university representation, cultural session, re-union of its present & ex-members etc. For short film and photography exhibition, firstly the judge panel segregates some best story and photo and then those are screened before the all participants. Bangla film director Nurul Alam Atik and his assistant and ex-member of the organization Al Raji Sonet were in the Judge panel.
