His abstract works deal with every women emotion such as love, care, enthusiasm and boldness in different mediums such as sketches and colourful acrylic, pastel and watercolour paintings.
Mrinal’s an acrylic painting titled “Moonstruck” depicted the powerful characteristics of women. A white figure with wings articulates the strength of the hidden determination in women. Perhaps, the composition is depiction of artist’s personal perspective.
Another displayed acrylic on canvas piece titled “Duality” portrayed the complicated status of women minds through abstractions. The use of vivid colours such as red, green, yellow and black in the artistically rich composition, get applause from the viewers.
Therefore, Mrinal’s some other aesthetically rich canvases portrayed women’s beauty in midst with nature. Some of the artworks also demonstrated the inner soul and pain and sufferings of women.
However, an abstract black and white drawing on display portrayed similarity between a tree and a woman to articulate simplicity of both of them through use of very delicate lines.
