Anti-budget rally foiled

The anti-budget procession of BNP, Chittagong was foiled by police while trying to bring out procession after end of budget session in Parliament on Thursday evening.
Following police obstructions towards procession, later arranged a brief rally in front of party office. Police sources said after end of budget speech by the Finance Minister, BNP city unit brought out procession from party office where police resisted them.
The processionists carried out banners with slogans of party budget will not help the peoples welfare and it is a deficit buget. In the instant gathering infront of party office instead of procession, vice president Abu sufian said Mohajote govt has snatched away the democratic rights of the people and hence govt is resisting us to observe the democratic rights of procession, rally etc.Among others Labour Affairs Secretary of BNP AM Nazimuddin, Mohila Dal President Monoara Begum Moni and General Secretary of Jubo Dal Mosharraf Hossain were present on the occasion.
