Hasina to meet Thakurgaon AL leaders today

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will exchange views with the grassroots- level leaders and workers of Thakurgaon district unit of her party at her official Ganobhaban residence at 12 noon today.
The view exchange meeting has been convened as part of a series of view exchange meetings between Awami League President Sheikh Hasina and the grassroots-level leaders and workers of her party initiated at the end of last year.
Office bearers and members of the Awami League Central Working Committee, advisory council, executive committee of Thakurgaon district unit, national committee members, lawmakers of the party, administrator of Thakurgaon District Council, presidents and general secretaries of upazila, thana, union and municipal units and upazila chairmen and vice-chairmen of the party, mayors and councilors of municipalities, chairmen of the union councils and presidents and general secretaries of the associate and like-minded bodies of the Thakurgaon district unit Awami League will attend the meeting.
In a statement yesterday, Awami League General Secretary and Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Syed Ashraful Islam, MP, urged all concerned to attend the meeting in time.
