Freshers’ reception held at DIU

Daffodil International University organized an Orientation Program for newly enrolled undergraduate students in the evening program in the Summer Semester of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology on June 16.
Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman was present on the occasion as the chief guest at the event held at the University auditorium in the city.
Prof. Rahman, welcomed the students for choosing the Daffodil International University as their career building institution while promising best courses at all levels. He said the University has been acclaimed for its commitment, transparency and quality of education.
DIU provides its students best available resources to pursue their studies and acquire skills. Considering the present situation, the University is going to offer laptops to students to use on personal basis and thus helping them to face the challenges of a competitive globalize world he added.
He said laid emphasis on three major things like discipline, honesty and quality. These are enough to make a life successful. To be a complete and worthy citizen of the country, he advised the students to achieve those virtues.

Technology urged the students to abide by the rules and regulations of the university and expected that they would make utmost utilization of the University resources to build a bright future.
Prof  Golam Mowla Choudhury, Controller of Examinations & Proctor, Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar. The program was conducted by Mr. Amlan Kishore Moon of Career Development Center spoke among others on the occasion.
Later the member of DIU Cultural club made cultural presentation at the end of the programme. n
