JU held three-days inter dept debate

A three-day inter departmental debate competition at the  Jahangirnagar University (JU) kicked off Thursday on the campus amid fanfare and  festivity.
The University Debate Organization (JUDO), comprising central debate teams arranged  the competition with a colorful inaugural rally which paraded the main streets on campus started from Amar Ekushe Chattar.  Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Anwar Hossain addressed the opening ceremony and he is also expected to give away prizes to the winners.
A total of 30 debate teams are participating at the competition, JUDO President Jakaria Palash confirmed.
The three-day long programme includes opening session with a rally, parliamentary  Debate and public speaking to end on June 23 at a grand prize distribution  Ceremony, organizers said.  n
