Graduation ceremony held at BIT campus

Bangladesh International Tutorial (BIT) held its 'Annual IGCSE and Advanced Level Graduation' ceremony on June 28 and awarded students who have achieved highest marks in the world category and the country level exams.
Long service awards ware also given to dedicated teachers on the occasion held at the BIT's Uttara installation having 1200 sitting arrangement for the guests.
BIT has been set up in 1983 in Gulshan and Banani and later expanded to different locations. Its Uttara installation is located on 20 bighas of land where senior and junior schools have already been set up and middle school is under construction.
This year 2 students from BIT have scored the highest marks in the world in 'A' Level and 3 have achieved highest marks in the country in IGCSE in various subjects.
Ms. Lubna Choudhury the founder-principal of BIT shared her experiences on the occasion with students and guardians while students boosted themselves saying, "we are standing strong because our teachers are dedicated and our graduates stand tall with distinction and difference.
BIT is one of the top English medium schools in Bangladesh with a track record of over 30 years in providing excellent education and helping in building strong disciplined and ethical leaders to serve the nation.
BIT's students have performed excellent in their examinations; in last academic year, sixty four students passed IGCSE and forty students passed 'A' Level exams from the school.
The graduation programme started with welcome address and a dance performance of Tagore's ANONDOLOKEY by students of KG sections of the school. It was followed by the others cultural programs performed by senior students in honour of the graduates.
BIT has active alumni association with chapters in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia, said a press release.
