Ctg Rly security, booking staff transferred

All the security staff of local railway station and booking clerks have been transferred on charge of their involvement in black marketing of railway tickets. Besides, show cause notices have been served against three engineers of Roads and Highways Department (RHD) for negligence of their duty.
The three engineers are Superintending Engineer Ziauddin, Deputy Superintending Engineer Juklfiker Ali and Executive Engineer Ranapriyo Barua. Communications Minister Obaidul Quader took the action in separate orders during his sudden visit to the railway station on Saturday.
At 9am, the minister visited Hathazari Link Road in Sitakunda upazila and expressed his dissatisfaction over the condition of the road. The three engineers did not take steps for repairing the road despite a directive given by the minister earlier.
