Acting on secret information a patrol team of police arrested Sweet Mallik, son of Mozahar Mallik from Jhumjhumpur Baliadanga area late at night. He was wanted in a number of robbery, snatching and bomb explosion cases.
In another drive in rail gate area police arrested Rupom, son of Kamrul Islam of Shashthitala Para and Jibon Sheikh, son of Ali sheikh of the rail gate area. They were wanted in several criminal casesincluding snatching and toll collection.
In yet another drive in Rail Station and Natunhat areas police
arrested Rafiqul Islam, son of Insan Ali, Rabiul Islam, son of Lokman Hossain and Bazlur Rahman, son of Rustam Ali in connection with several mugging, extortion and bomb explosion cases.
