‘Tajuddin was a leader of strong principle’

Prime Minister of the Mujibnagar government Tajuddin Ahmed had a commitment that he would not meet with his family in Kolkata until the liberation war concluded.  He kept him his promise and did not meet with his family until the liberation war ended.

Personal secretary to the then Prime Minister of Mujibnagar government Dr Faruque Aziz on Friday disclosed this at a memorial meeting organized by the Liberation War Museum to mark the 87th birth anniversary of Tajuddin ahmed, war time Prime Minister of Bangladesh government in 1971.

Dr Faruque Aziz Khan told the function that Tajuddin Khan always led a very simple life.

Sutapa Saha presented musical programme at the function while Himel Anrja cited from the diary of Tajuddin Ahmed.
