200 sued in 3 cases over JU violence

Three cases have been filed with the Savar and Ashulia police stations over stabbing of a BCL leader at Jahangirnagar University and the subsequent violent demonstrations and vandalism.
Police filed two cases with the Savar and Ashulia police stations while the mother of the injured BCL leader lodged another case with Savar Police Station at Thursday midnight.
A total of 200 people - 25 of those were named - were made accused in the cases but police have not arrested anyone.
