Humayun Ahmed will alive in his work

The central auditorium of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet were decorated by the meeting of Himu and Misir Ali on August 6, From the back wall it gives an impression that Humayun Ahmed was seeing the  scene his creation. 
Not only university students, teachers also decorated themselves with the dress up of Himu and Misir Ali. They said, " Humayun Ahmed will be immortal  for his creative activity".  SUST authority has arranged this programme where the legendary writer was fondly remembered at a remembrance meeting. The programme begun with the song " Tumi robe nirobe momo" performed by Supriya Das. "
Besides, selected texts were read from the noble of Humayun Ahmed. The different songs of Humayun Ahmed including " Jodi mon kade chole esho", " O amar ural ponki re", " Chadni poshor raithe jeno amar moron hoy", " Moriley kandis na amar day" were also performed where Abul Hossain, Prianka Das, Mamun and Nafiya Rahman has participated.
While addressing as the chief guest V. C prof. Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin said, " Humayun Ahmed will remain ever  in the mind of country's people; because his literature was immensely received by the general people.  We will not find any family where his books are not read. Not only he has  wrote  nobles or dramas, publication art has paid life by his writings".
 Country's people will remember him for the exact representation of liberation war to the mass people in his film " Aguner Poroshmoni" ; he also added.
Treasurer Prof. Dr. Ilias Uddin Bissas said as the special guest " Humayun Ahmed was not only a writer but also an ideal teacher. He performed his duty properly and has quit  the teaching profession after his complete attention in literature . Lifelong he will remember for his works."
Invited discusser litterateur, journalist  Anisul Haque said, " There was magic power in the writings of Humayun Ahmed. In Bangladesh,   there were also rain, moonlit but in our life he introduced the rain, moonlight in a  new dimension".
Prof. Dr. Md. Zafor Iqbal remembering his family memory said, " In the day of 1948 when he was born, the prince Charles of England were also born. The birthday of Prince Charles became a matter of discussion in world wide. This time my father said, my son will be a great men and people will feel proud for him".
"Once we were a close family. We have shared joys-sorrows with mother-brother-sister and children's. At a times distance became larger among us and his children's. But after the death of Dada Bhi we are trying to lessening the pain of his  death combined."
Shila Ahmed said, "When we stood beside the coffin of my fathers, we saw huge croed came to pay tribute with his favorite Khodom flower, pen, note books etc. They have touched our father's coffin. We have felt proud to seeing this scene of pure love and realized that to be the daughter of a writer is to be happy and delightful".
The mother of late Humayun Aysha Foyez; daughter Shila, Bipasa;  sisters  Sufia, Momothaj, Rokeya, former wife Ghulthekin Khan and other family members  were present.  The discussants include litterateur, journalist   Proshantho Mrida, Assistant Prof. Md. Shafiqul Islam in English department, lecturer Dr. Zafir Sethu in Bangla department were gave speech.
Assistant  Prof. Md. Faruq Uddin in Sociology department moderated the event. V.C Prof. Dr. Salehuddin, Prof. Susantho Kumar Das of Sylhet International University, dean Prof. Dr. Yeasmin Haque of  School of Life Sciences, dean Prof. Dr. A. K.M Mahbubuzzaman of  School of Social  Sciences, Associate Prof. Dr. Rukshana Begum in Chemistry Department , daughter of the late Humayun Shila, lecturer Ali Ibne Sina in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, a 4th year student  Sabbir Ahmed of Economics department spoke on the occasion.
