Charge acceptance order on Oct 1

A Dhaka court on Tuesday fixed October 1 for passing order on whether it would accept charges against BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and three others in the Zia Charitable Trust graft case.
Metropolitan Session Judge of Dhaka, Md Johurul Haque passed the order following a time petition filed by Khaleda Zia's lawyer.
In the time petition, the defence counsel said that they want the hearing to be held in presence of Khaleda Zia, so they need time.On August 5, the same judge expressed his discontent when the defence counsel prayed for time to defer the delivery of the order on whether to accept charges against the accused.
