Int’l children film fest begins today in N’ganj

Art & Culture Desk : With the theme ‘Alo Chhayai Sundor Agami’ a three-day film festival for the children titled ‘International Children Film Festival 2011’ will begin today in Narayanganj. Renowned artist Hashem Khan will inaugurate the festival as chief guest, while film ‘Aamar Bondhu Rashed,’ directed by Morshedul Islam, will be screened on the opening day. ‘Batyan’ and ‘Khelaghor Narayanganj’ jointly organised the festival while Children’s Film Society Bangladesh and Naryanganj Film Society is coordinating the carnival. Twelve films from 12 different countries will be screened at the festival to be held at local Shahid Zia Auditorium.
